Front cover moodboard

Here is a collage of indie magazines which is the same for my genre.
In most ofthe magazines they are mid shots to show off the artist/band. There are some close up shots to show off the facial expression and to show that they are involved in the music. It makes them the main focus if the magazine which attracts the attention of the audience. depending on the artist they have different shots, for a band they have long and mid shots to show the whole band but if they are solo they have a close up shot of them.
Their costume is mainly made up ripped up jeans and t-shirts which shows that they are comfortable and not really interested in what they wear but interested in the music and how their music is portrayed.
The overall representation is that the artist themselves are simple and independent and that they are mainly focused on producing music.
The font and the style of the style in most title blocks are bold and the colours stand out to the audience which makes them intrigued to read about the magazines. Most of the artists are in front of the title block which shows that these magazines are well known. The colour schemes of these title blocks are mainly white and red as they are in contrast of the magazine which makes it stand out and it makes it more appealing and grab the attention of the audience. The types of articles that are placed on the front cover is about the main artists as they have the anchorage text placed across the magazine to show who the article is going to be about. Overall, all the images from my moodboard show that they use all the conventions for a front cover.
