Contents page moodboard

Here is a collage of the contents of indie magazines which is the same for my genre.
In most of the contents pages they are mid shots or long shots to show off the artist/band.There are some close up shots to show off the facial expression and to show that they are involved in the music. It makes them the main focus if the magazine which attracts the attention of the audience. The main artist image is bigger than the rest of the other images to shows its the more important article. There are various page numbers to show the audience that the magazine contains a lot of artist information and other details of gigs or festivals. There is also a subscription are in which the audience can subscribe to and to keep in touch with the magazine. There are also various smaller images around the contents page in order to make the magazine look more entertaining. The editors note is shown because if gives the audience a hint of what the editor thinks of the magazine. Overall, all the images from my moodboard show that they use all the conventions for a contents page. This enables the audience to find information quicker so that they are still kept interested in the magazine.
